I use stock instead of water when cooking quinoa (add in fresh herbs for extra goodness).
This vegan lasagna is amazing and uses stock: http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=8013.0

I use it to make yummy soups – make up a pint of stock in a saucepan, add a chopped onion, chopped potatos and any other veg you might fancy and simmer until the vegetables are soft. Then add a tin of chopped tomatoes (optional), whizz through a blender, put it back in the saucepan and heat it through then voila!! It you like your soup a bit more chunky then when you blend it only put half of the mixture in!

General Tsao’s Tofu. This recipe is so good. It’s not the healthiest, but it tastes exactly like Chinese takeout. If you wanna try it, make sure you double the sauce and serve with rice. I’d also cut out some of the sugar. I do cause it was way too sweet for me (and I LOVE sugar)

You can add vegetable stock to pretty much everything. It’s a good way to give a dish some moisture without adding water… which doesn’t have much taste.

    Leek and Potato Soup!
Clean and cut up potatoes and put in a pot with the broth.
Cut up the leeks, and then clean them (there’s dirt on the inside), and then saute them in butter or margarine. Add to the broth.
Let it simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are soft.
Mash up the vegetables, or put it all in a blender.
Add about 1 cup of milk or cream, and a bit more margarine and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Fantastic! Everyone asks me to make it!

Just saute a few veggies whatevre you’d like in chinese food, tofu , ginger, garlic etc and add stock, bring to boil add soya sauce, hot sauce, vinegar and let it boil for a few minutes. Let it stand for a few minutes and eat with ur fav noodles/ rice

    base for any soup.
use it in place of water when making seitan or gravy.
add it to ANYTHING you’re sauteeing to boost the flavor in the pan.
freeze it in an ice cube tray and use small amounts in other recipes over time. it will stay good for quite a while.
