Why Do Bananas Grow Upward And All Other Fruit Grows Downward?

christnp is right, they are berries, “false berries”. Other
examples of false berries are, pumpkins, watermelon,
squash, & blueberries. I think the reason they grow up
is since the leaves are so big, and they grow in tropical
areas, lot of rainfall & cloud cover, the flower grows up
reaching for what sunlight it can get.
