one more thing; i live in an apartment with no garden but at least i have a fire escape so is it a good idea to start grow my own small vegs & fruits garden in my fire escape? i’m doing it for save money, try to be on the right track of stay healthy!

I need help in my vegetable garden. My dad swears by miracle grow sprayed on plants (using their sprayer) every two weeks. I am hesitant to spray that on my plants due to the chemicals. Anyone know anything about this?
I did use a fertilizer that gets worked into the soil but, it doesn’t get down as regularly as it should. MG may be easier…
