What Vegetables Grow Good Beside Roses?

I have a garden and would like to know where to put my roses. I have tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and beans. Which would be better to plant the rose beside?

I have seen perennials and veggies blend together nicely in the landscape, so I’m not a veggie/perennial segregationist myself.
I do think the rose should have some priority spacing in your yard, though and here’s why: Cucumbers, carrots, and beans will come and go, but the rose is a perennial that will be there year after year, so I say plant it where ever you really want it to be in your yard, and plant the rest of your garden around it! Roses like similar soil (acidic) as do strawberry plants so you could consider planting those as nice companions to your rose bush next year. Just move or harvest the cucumbers, carrots, and beans from wherever you decide to plant the rose bush.
I think veggies and perennials go together quite nicely, by the way.
I would put the roses against the fence line away from all the vegetables because its hard to harvest with thorns in the way.
Roses attract ants and aphids too far away from the beans, tomatoes and cukes.
you should plant the roses somewhere aside from your garden. I would put them buy your door or in your front yard, somewhere they can be enjoyed, i would keep it separate from the vegetables you are growing.
Roses are companion-plants to the onion family. Garlic is the rose’s favourite companion.
honestly, marijuana will grow nicely AND it will rejuvenate your soil.
