What Vegetables Don’t Grow On A Vine Or Take Up Alot Of Space?

Posted by admin on February 14, 2010

I have a very small yard and not much space to plant vegetables, what are some that don’t grow on a vine? (e.g. Lettuce, carrots) any others? and my yard is pretty shady, too.

Shady can be a problem even for root veggies as they need the warmth. But onions and garlic don’t take up much space.
