part of my garden has nice black dirt and the other half has more of a sandy soil. Is there some vegetables that grow better in the sandy part?

I’ve had great luck with tomatoes and bell peppers if cages are around them for support. Vines (cucumber, pumpkin, etc.) do well in the sandy soils, as do spinach, chard; root vegetables, carrots, radishes, do great.
asparagus also grows well in sandy soil
