I would not worry as much about fertilizer as I would soil preparation. By that I mean, prepare the soil with potting mix like Miracle Grow. All plants need organic material in the soil to do well. Amendments like Miracle Grow are perfect for that purpose and they usually contain fertilizer to last up to 90 days.
If you do add fertilizer, choose one with low nitrates and don’t over fertilize. After fertilizing, add plenty of water. Most nursery’s have fertilizer that is designed for high yield vegetable gardens like the one you want to grow. There is no one fertilizer that is necessarily better than another. Buy the one that is the most reasonably priced and it should work fine. Once again, amendments to the soil are just as important if not more than fertilizer.
Finally, add a drip system to your garden. It makes watering a whole lot easier, especially if the system is on a timer. Even a soaker hose watering system makes watering a garden so much easier.
Good luck!!!
Start your own compost pile by saving all vegy, fruit, and garden trimmings in a pile or compost container. You can add shredded newspaper etc. Turn and water occasionally. You will be pleasantly surprised.
Miracle Grow is your best best. Fish emulsion is also good. Don’t use a high nitrogen fertilizer (the first of the three numbers listed on the bag) or you will have all plant and no flowers. Water a lot. Good luck.
Try stagreen nursery special. It has an 18-6-12 formula and constant feeds for 3 months without dumping and burning plants.
Try Eco grow bio compost and the biostimulants. Natural coir compost laced with bacteria and stimulants.
most garden chemicals are bad in the long term and ruin the compost and soil

The best way to have great looking vegetables and flowers is to feed the soil properly so that it can feed your plants properly. This means incorporating plenty of organic matter into the soil in the form of compost. If you have access to organic matter, and most of us that garden and have a yard, do, incorporate this material into your soil. Amending what you have with properly composted horse, cow, chicken or rabbit manure will increase it’s value as a fertilizer.
Using grass clippings as mulch to maintain even soil moisture and watering regularly and deeply will help your plants develop deep roots to take advantage of the nutrients in the soil.
