Can You Grow Vegetables Where Flowers Were Growing?
Posted by admin on February 8, 2010
i have 4 plants, cucumber, icebox watermelon, yellow squash and yellow bell pepper. i want to plant them in the garden but the tenant before was growing flowers, mostly lilies. we have dug them up, is it safe to grow my veggies there?

Yes, it’s safe. Lilies are members of the alium family, just like onions, and are not toxic.
well it sounds like you got the right answers and but if a previous crop Did have alleopathic tendencies then this time as you add fresh amendment and then start watering it the past agents will be gone.
