What Are Some Good Herbs To Grow In This Northeast Rain?
Posted by admin on March 1, 2010
Because of the recent record breaking amount of rain in the Northeast, and the unusual summer cold, it has been more than difficult to grow the pots of White Sage I have been working on. Does anyone know of a nice herb that would do well in this cold, wet environment?

I live in upstate New York where we are having a similar cool wet summer. My cilantro, dill, oregano, mint, and basil are all doing well. The only herb that is having a problem is my rosemary, in part because the pot I put it in is not draining properly. There has been plenty of sun for herbs. If you have these herbs in pots, make sure they can fully drain.
You can plant all the herbs on God Nature’s poster field guide to Garden Herbs
There are 32 on the poster (see link) and gets you a good start on perennial gardneing.
Beautiful.
