What Kind Of Vegetables Can I Grow Indoors?
Posted by admin on July 12, 2010
I’m interested in growing some of my own veg, but I only have limited space outside. Therefore, I would love to know what fruit/veg I could grow inside, beside a North/South facing window in Northern Ireland.
Thanks in advance for any good answers!

tomatoes and peppers
The response “any” is correct except that it’s about more than just light and temperature. Humidity and air circulation are important, and each type of veggie has different responses to light intensity, “day length”, and other variables.
Tomatoes thrive on bright light, adequate air circulation, long hot days and short cool nights.
Lettuce wants medium to short cool days (long days will cause it to bolt) and humid fresh air.
Stagnant air is generally bad for any type of crop and is a major cause of indoor gardening failures.
my guess would be any given you have adequate space and a sweet hydro set or even some simple high output lights.
