I don’t recommend it. It’s not like one tomatoe is going to kill you, but it has long term effects on the body. Think of it this way…Is it natural or organic? Then don’t use it…
We are natural gardeners, and we use homemade fertilizers. We always have wonderful looking & tasting produce & none of it is grown with commercial pesticides or fertilizers. Liquidate your left over kitchen scraps (no meat), & dilute it just enough to barely see through it & pour it ON your plants. This is a great fertilizing smootie for your plants. You can also wrap your plants roots in a piece of banana peel when you plant them & this provides a lot of nutrients to help it grow. Add 1 cup of vinegar to 2 gallons of water to water your plants ONCE A MONTH. You can e mail me for more recipes…
We do, I’m not dead yet ,or—–?
Yes of course! If you bought Miracle Grow from a reputable dealer, like Lowe’s or Home Depot etc.. then its good to use. I grow vegetables and herbs every year and they are all grown with Miracle Grow. If you have any reservations about eating the food you planted, just take some of your fruit to your local farmers market, and ask one of the dealers if its okay. They would know best since they all farm their own food. -Good Luck-
just wash them first.
Miracle Gro is actually pretty safe to use on fruits and vegetables. Its non toxic and can be applied right up to the day of harvest. Simple wash your produce before you eat it.
Cow Manure is a great fertilizer. You eat more than you realize.
Like that tomato or strawberry.
Of course its OK.
