If I Start My Town Over On Animal Crossing City Folk, Is It Possible It Might Grow Different Fruit?

Posted by admin on January 24, 2010

Right now I grow cherries, and so does the only person I know in real life who has this game. I really want to start growing other fruits!

Most likely, you will get a new fruit. I had oranges once and then I restarted and got pears. Hope that helped! ☺☻☺☻☺☻

Starting over your town isn’t the only option! There are plenty of ways to get foreign fruit without starting over.
The first thing you could try is sending items in letters to all of your villagers. If you send them things (even things like shells, your cherries, stationary, etc), occasionally they’ll send you a letter with a fruit in it. I managed to get every single fruit this way!
If you’re feeling a little less patient, you could sign up for an account on an Animal Crossing forum (http://acforums.megadoomer.com/ – This is a great one). Plenty of people online are willing to trade fruit / give fruit to people who need it.
P.S.- Coconuts wash up on the beach occasionally, so be sure to check for them every once in a while!

Try sending your fruit in a letter to someone in your town. And make sure you mention the word “fruit” cause if you do, theres a chance they will send you a fruit that doesn’t grow in your town.
