I Live In Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Can I Grow Various Fruit Trees Near Each Other?

I just brought a house last August, I would love to plant a serious garden. I have always wanted to have a cherry, peach, apple and pear tree in my yard. I would also love to grow strawberries. Can they all be grown in the same area? I have a normal city lot.

    Sure, though many require pollen from a different cultivar to set fruit. Here’s some information from a source that sells various cultivars. Notice for instance, that Lapins, Vandalay and Sweetheart sweet cherries are the only three that don’t require an additional pollen source — so you might want to find out what the neighbors have or put in a grafted tree that has wood of a couple cultivars on it if you don’t want to buy, say, two cherry trees, and two apple trees and two peach trees and….
