How Long Does A Papaya Seed Grow And Give Fruit?

i have some papaya seeds. they germinate but i am living in zone 7.can i grow them indoors?and how long do i have to wait for flowers? how tall they grow? my artments ceiling is about 3 metres.is it foolish to try?
yes you wont get fruit
papaya need several months 2 grow and when it becomes 6-7 feet in height it will give u fruit.i m not able 2 tell u abt d exact period . it depends upon d type of seed.
